Nikki Powills was born and raised in Iowa City and began her tattooing journey with the start of her apprenticeship in February 2007 . She loves making art of all kinds from painting to crafting. On top of a love for art she also loves gardening and hiking in nature, where she finds her inspiration and love of tattooing plants and animals.

She tattoos in a variety of styles but especially loves an illustrative style, utilizing bold lines with finer detail work. Whether black and grey or color, she will bring your ideas to life.
