How much will my tattoo cost?
Most our artist have a hourly rate of $150. There is a non-refundable non-transferable deposit you will put down when you schedule an appointment, which will come off the price of the tattoo.. Pricing is based on the time it takes to do the tattoo. The artist you have a consultation with will give you an estimate on how long they expect the tattoo to take and an estimate of cost.
How do I schedule an appointment ?

After you’ve reached out the artist will be in contact with you to schedule an over the phone or in person consultation to chat about the design and schedule an appointment.
Will it hurt?
All tattoos will hurt, some more than others. Being well rested and hydrated , eating a solid meal a couple hours before the appointment and being in comfortable clothing can all help with bring more prepared for a longer session. If you’re concerned about the placement or pain bring it up with your artist during the consultation and they can discuss with you was to help make the process as easy as possible.
What do I wear to my appointment ?
Wear clothing that is comfortable and allows easy access to the area you’re having tattooed. Zipper hoodies or button up fleeces are versatile for allowing access as well as coverage for back pieces , sternums , ribs and stomach. String tie bikini’s are good for upper thigh to hip tattoos. You can bring in shorts or tanks to change into if the weathers not appropriate to wear it in but you need access to an area. Some clients will bring extra little sweater or blankets to keep warm if they’ll have more body exposed for the tattoo.
When will I see my tattoo drawing ?
This will depend on the artist you’re working with. Some artists will send out the designs before the appointment day , some have them ready for you to see when you’re in. Talk with your artist during the consultation to find out more about what their process is and what to expect for your appointment.
How long will it take for my tattoo to heal ?
Tattoo heal times have several variables including but not limited to person to person, location on the body , complexity of the tattoo and amount of work done. Generally a tattoo is healed to the touch in 2-3 weeks and fully healed in 2-6 months. Ultimately you will know your tattoo is healed when it is no longer shiny and is smooth to the touch. It is important that you follow the aftercare instructions given to you by your tattoo artist.
Can I get tattooed if I’m on medication or have a medical disorder ?
Yes, there are several medications and medical conditions that do not affect the tattoo process. Please let your tattoo artist know of any and all medications that may thin the blood or reduce clotting as well as any medical conditions that could seriously affect your health if you have an open wound. Ultimately if you’re not sure, speak with your doctor about what effects a tattoo would have for you. We want you to be healthy and have an awesome tattoo!
Can I get tattooed if I’m pregnant / breastfeeding ?
No, you can’t get tattooed if you’re pregnant. We also recommend waiting until you are finished nursing for your health and the health of your child. In the months after child birth, your body can become immuno-compromised to a degree and make you more susceptible to infection. Should you become ill from your immunity being low from getting a tattoo you can pass infections and illnesses on to your young child. Better safe than sorry!
What inks do you use ?
We use industry supported and industry manufactured organic inks from various manufacturers. We only use the highest quality most mainstream brands purchased from licensed retailers/wholesalers.
How old do I have to be to get tattooed ?
In the State of Iowa, the age for getting a tattoo is 18. There is no parental consent for tattoos younger than 18 in our State and a valid photo ID is REQUIRED.
